Climbing Federation of Russia 2013 event calendar
Submitted by Dubinin on Mon, 12/31/2012 - 12:58Climbing Federation of Russia announced the schedule of all-Russian events for the year of 2013. The season starts on January 4th and ends on December 23rd. Lead and speed Russian national championships will take place from March 26th to March 30th in Perm. Bouldering Russian nationa championshops is scheduled from June 11th to June 13th in Kazan.
XVIII Men's World Combat Sambo Championships
Submitted by Dubinin on Thu, 12/27/2012 - 18:06XVIII Men's World Combat Sambo Championships took place in Moscow on December 22nd. The event consisted of 7 weight categories and gathered 52 athletes from 13 countries. Russian team won the championships in total point count.
Vladimir Fedorov made a record dive
Submitted by Dubinin on Sat, 12/22/2012 - 13:58Vladimir Fedorov set a new record in dynamic apnea in extreme conditions, breaking the distance of 100 metres. He made his way from one underground lake to another when the water temperature was +5°C and the air temperature was −20°C.
Presentation of climbing to IOC members
Submitted by Dubinin on Sat, 12/22/2012 - 12:52Presentation of climbing to IOC Commision on 2020 Olympics programme will take place on December 19th in Lausanne. Climbing is included in short lists of sports that can be included in Olympics schedule. Climbing Federation of Russia representative Evgeniya Malamid will take part in the presentation.

Academic department of theory and methodic of service-applied martial arts and extreme activity of RSUPESY&T celebrates its 10th anniversary. The gala celebrations took place on 16th of November with the participation of representatives of Climbing Federation of Russia (CFR).
